Once I'm done renaming the preferences related to showing the search terms in the urlbar, we'll need to track how many people turned it on in order to better understand the effect of the experiment.

Yes.

Yes. This collection is Telemetry so can be controlled through Firefox's Preferences.

Category 2, Interaction.

Default on for all channels.

No.
