Steps to reproduce:
- Open Outlook (the web access) from Office 365
- Copy a PNG image from a mail you received
- Make a new mail and paste the image
Actual results:
Transparent area is displayed black with current Nightly version
Expected results:
Transparent areas in the PNG should stay transparent.
Worked with Nightly last week Wednesday. Firefox Stable is not affected.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics: WebRender' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Marcel, could you please attach your about:support
output to this report?

Sure! Sorry for forgetting about that.
It is a freshly created profile on Nightly.
Side note: I think I saw some patches about copy/paste behaviour recently landed in Nightly.

Is it possible to find a regression range with https://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/ ?
Sorry, my claim that it works with Firefox Stable was false. I tried it with builds from today until I got to 2022-09-26 (106a1), all of them failed to copy the image correctly. I must have mixed up some other image for that test on Firefox Stable.
But the process of copying an image with transparent background should still work like it does with other browsers.
I am currently using a company's logo for the test which I would like to avoid sharing. On Friday I will prepare and upload a test image and do a screencast if that is helpful.

This might be a dupe of bug 460969
I checked that and it is indeed bug 460969 I encountered.
Sorry, I couldn't find that bug beforehand. Closing this one.
