1801911 - Decide if time inputs need to have a Reset button to clear their value

Question

Should we show a Reset button for a type=time inputs or it is not beneficial as the user can clean out the field manually? If it is decided to be shown, the previously used Reset button will need to be made accessible (have a role button, be keyboard focusable and actionable, and possibly be shown at all times while being disabled if the field's value is empty)

I would add all time/date input variant to the discussion. I attach screenshots of Chrome 110 and Firefox 109.2 on Android. I have a button to clear input and I appreciate it as much as the (X) icon in my desktop Firefox 102.7.0esr.

Hi @Marcin, thank you for providing the feedback and helpful screenshots! The clearing of the date and date time-local field is tracked by the bug 1811187 (adding the Clear button to the date picker panel). Feel free to give this bugs a vote up! :)
