Per discussion just now in https://chat.mozilla.org/#/room/#searchfox:mozilla.org I'm going to temporarily disable our rust production checks by moving them from checks to a new parallel tree disabled-checks (which will be ignored). We can then move the tree back later and re-generate the check expectations. Bug 1730293 tracks enhancements to the ergonomics of updating the production checks.
The right time to re-enable these tests would probably be after bug 1761287 is completed and we're sure the rust indexing representation has stabilized and is what we want to lock down. As documented at https://github.com/mozsearch/mozsearch/blob/master/docs/testing-checks.md it's actually much easier to update the checks when there's already a production server up with the state you want to checkpoint.
