I can see this SecurityError: WebMIDI requires a site permission add-on to activate in the logs, that would indicate that the call to requestMIDIAccess is automatically denied, which can happen if there are no MIDI devices detected
This shouldn't happen as we set midi.testing pref in the test, that should simulate devices.
For now I can reproduce locally, I'll dig a bit deeper

Okay, so I can confirm that the requestMIDIAccess isn't successful because there's no MIDI devices detected (https://treeherder.mozilla.org/logviewer?job_id=397546515&repo=try&lineNumber=7588-7598), although we do set the midi.testing pref

Set midi.testing and dom.webmidi.enabled prefs in browser.ini for the test.
