mcafee anti virus stops junk mail analysis of local mail? this is something granrose sent me mail about. jon, can you provide some details?
I saw this when I first updated off the zip build to an installer build, I think it was 2002110713 win32. I'm running 2002110804 now, and I noticed yesterday and today that I got virus alerts for some of the virus mail when it was processing, but it still kept processing in the background. It could have been a fluke, or I might have not been accurate in my observations. You can probably close this bug and I can reopen it if I see it again. oh, and it was imap - I saw it at work. I get about 5 virus spams a day at work (imap), but few if any at home (pop).
Summary: mcafee anti virus stops junk mail analysis of local mail? → mcafee anti virus stops junk mail analysis of imap mail?
