Who would be the one that has access to the service logs for wiki.mozilla.org? I would like to see why the API queries are failing after this weekends changeover.

dlactin: Is it possible to check if requests from the wiki are being throttled by Cloud Armor?

Flags: needinfo?(dlactin)

It doesn't look like this is being rate limited by cloud armor. There are no requests being logged from mediawiki at all.

:ntade and I looked at the wikimo error logs but weren't able to get anything useful or actionable out of it. We also tried changing Bugzilla to allow TLSv1.0 and saw no changes there. :ntade updated the ca-certificates bundle on the wikimo instances and that seems to have helped? Seeing HTTP requests from wikimo to the Bugzilla API, and some of the pages are showing tables correctly now.

:ntade confirmed with some additional testing that updating the ca-certificates bundle on all wikimo instances fixed the problem. He is figuring out how to get puppet to always update the bundle and that should fix this problem

Flags: needinfo?(spike)

And the reason why this is a problem after migrating to GCP is that the GCP certificates are issued by Let's Encrypt instead of Digicert

:ntade has welded the ca-certificates bundle into the right place and this should be fixed going forward.
