I can reproduce with Fenix Nightly. Disabling TCP does not fix it, so it's most likely unrelated to that.

Actually, disabling ETP doesn't fix the issue for me either.

Reporter, could you please confirm that the issue gets fixed when disabling ETP? If not then this might not be anti-tracking breakage after all. Thanks!

I can try as many times to log into my account with ETP ON but it keeps redirecting me to login page. If I disable it then it works.

Reuploaded the video, I didn't realize it didn't record the last part where I was able to login with ETP OFF

Both Hannah and I can't reproduce this as shown in the video. We've tested on the latest version of Fenix Nightly with app data reset. The issue persists even if ETP is disabled globally (cookie behavior 0).

It's broken for me on Fenix release too, independent of ETP state.

Tim was able to reproduce. Perhaps my Facebook account is blocked in some other way.

Can this fix be uplifted to Beta 110? According to this bug's tracking flags, this bug is a regression in 110.

We can do the uplift. Alternatively, We can also allowlist facebook under Instagram temporarily so that we don't need to do an uplift. And the allowlist entry can be removed after the fix touches the release channel.

The patch landed in nightly and beta is affected.
:timhuang, is this bug important enough to require an uplift?
- If yes, please nominate the patch for beta approval.
- If no, please set
status-firefox110
towontfix
.

I am adding an allowlist entry that can fix this issue for release. So, we don't need to uplift this.
