The Firefox menu -> More Tools -> Task Manager no longer opens the about:performance page in Firefox 104 and above but instead, opens the about:processes Process Manager tab (see bug 1777563).

I made some recent updates to the SUMO Task Manager article (separate instructions for fx104 above ,new screenshot, how to open) but we should update the article with more information, such as how to use the about:processes page and maybe link to https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/dom/ipc/process_model.html for advanced users.

I think we should also consider explaining how to open the old about:performance Task Manager tab in Firefox 104 and above, to see which individual extensions may be slowing down Firefox.

For the record, the about:performance page will be removed in fx116 (bug 1836191). I have a revision to the article that's pending review:
