When searching certain web pages, the bottom toolbar that is opened when you do “Find in page“ can randomly disappear along with the software keyboard, if any. Here's a demonstration:

Yes, this has been going on for years with firefox android but I just accepted it. Certain websites have code that causes or interacts with the "find in page" to auto collapse it and wont stay open. Here is a video demonstrating it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHNbWrn8OcM

I'd say it happens on about 1 out of 8 website I try to use the find in page function on.

Here is the link of the website that is demonstrated in my video screencast: https://www.autoblog.com/buy/2022-Genesis-GV70-3.5T_Sport__4dr_All_Wheel_Drive/specs/

Hello,
I have same issue on some pages (not all but still quite annoying).
Here is an example page where it happen : https://tasmota.github.io/docs/Commands/

I reported it here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1470192?utm_campaign=questions-reply&utm_source=notification&utm_medium=email#answer-1684288
And one person confirmed it can be reproduced.

I wonder if this will ever get patched, having been opened 2.5 years ago. This drives me nuts literally occurs 5 to 10 times a day for me. When I'm searching websites I have to use the find in page feature to quickly get down to the information I'm searching for. Websites are full of garbage or you're just trying to quickly navigate to a certain topic, and every time I use the find in page, it just keeps collapsing. Or if you use the arrows to find the next word that matches, it will collapse. Then you have to keep reopening it and retyping it. Then collapses again.

I must admit too that forwarding some webpage to chrome just to use "find in page" function is quite annoying... :-/

No changes on my side with version 136.0.1

btw, Focus has no such problem on pages I have tested.

This is still happening, for example on the finnish site finlex;

Yep I encounter it daily, lots of websites trigger it, at least one to three times a day. For years now
