User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:108.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/108.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable GPU acceleration
- Use youtube
Actual results:
Firefox uses more and more ram. It has gotten as high as 17 gb out of the 32 gb on my laptop. Firefox task manager says that almost all of it is being used by "GPU". It will continue to increase until Firefox is restarted.
Turning off GPU acceleration solves this issue, but that causes Firefox to flicker.
This issue has occurred since updating to the latest graphics drivers. Before the driver updates, Firefox would use 100% of the integrated GPU but this is no longer an issue.
Expected results:
Other browsers such as Microsoft Edge use less than a gigabyte. Similar results would be expected with Firefox.

Somewhat the same issue I posted a bug report here to, when I use Firefox and watch a YouTube video and then move the browser across my desktop while the video is playing ram will just keep filling up and up if uses up all my ram to the point I have no ram left I get a blue screen of death: ntoskrnl.exe irql_not_less_or_equal, when u turn of hardware acceleration Firefox works fine, tested ram and gpu all is well.
