Saw this issue reproducing on debug with a quick-reads
story which had
- empty title
- missing estimated time to read. This is accepted to happen. Not an issue.
- no valid image - the url being
https://img-getpocket.cdn.mozilla.net/{wh}/filters:format(jpeg):quality(60):no_upscale():strip_exif()/null
Until now the app only protects against missing title/url/image url but we can guard also against empty such details by checking for blank
values here[1].
Unfortunately for image urls containing some data but an otherwise invalid link I think we should just escalate to Pocket.

:cpeterson, could you consider increasing the severity of this bug to S2
?

This issue is still reproducible in latest Nightly 113.0a1, Firefox 112.0b3 and Firefox 111.0 with Sony Xperia (Android 6.0.1). The scenario that Petru described is also reproducible.

"Estimated time to read" will not be available for all stories. (The Pocket Collections, for example, are a list of stories and we do not aggregate this for Collections)
It also appears as if the images that are missing are for Collections. I've created a Pocket Backend/Platform ticket to track. https://getpocket.atlassian.net/browse/INFRA-1199

marking as won't fix based on Channing & Joe M thoughts: T his bug is still blocked waiting for Pocket to do something with, but I think we should probably just close it as a WONTFIX at this point: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1807373 (I honestly have no idea if there even ARE people working on Pocket-related stuff currently)

Of note, the Pocket ticket connected to this will remain open, but we'll just stop tracking this as a Fenix task.
