Hello, as some browsers like Vivaldi, Brave, etc. already have it. I propose you to add your own ad blocker inside the Firefox browser. With the possibility to add external lists and create user rules, if the latter is possible and if not the possibility to upload a .txt file with rules to the browser. This would be a possible and reasonable solution to MV3. Plus many users would be even happier with the browser with this new functionality.
Well, this is what I wanted to propose.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards.

Also, I wanted to ask you what happened to this feature upgrade request that I made 2 years ago and it came to nothing.

It seems to me that from version to version there are only cosmetic changes that end up disappointing users, with all the respect in the world I tell you. But I think that is the reality. Well, I won't say more, thank you very much in advance.

Thank you for your suggestion, but we respectfully decline it. We fully support user's ability to choose an ad blocker, but don't believe it is our job to do so. Specifically:

This would be a possible and reasonable solution to MV3.

We already have what we consider to be a "reasonable solution" for MV3, that is providing compatibility with MV3 while also maintaining support for existing ad blockers. For more information, please see this recent detailed explanation:
