The Pocket sponsored stories feature depends on the ip location for when requesting them from the server.
With a limited geographical availability it may be hard for even member of the team to test it.
The endpoint allows to provide as query parameters:

• country - two letter ISO 3166-2 country code - eg US
• city - two letter city code - eg NY.

This will allow the QA team (and anyone else interested) to test the feature.
This feature already exists on desktop through the form of a about:config setting.
