Why/User Benefit/User Problem
As a user with bookmarks, I can move my bookmarks so that I can organize them in a way that makes sense to me.
I should be able to do this without editing the bookmarks, like I can in most Chromium based browsers.
What / Requirements
New context menu item labeled "Move" beside folders and bookmarks.
Acceptance Criteria (how do I know when I’m done?)
I can select a bookmark and move it into another folder
I can select a bookmark that is in another folder and move it into a different folder
I can select multiple bookmarks and move them into another folder (this is done via a toolbar icon in other browsers)┆Issue is synchronized with this Jira Task
Change performed by the Move to Bugzilla add-on.

Usability Suggestion
It might be nice to utilize "touch and dragging" on the bookmark icon at the left side of a bookmark in the list to enable dragging an individual bookmark to a given order.
Currently, touching or touch and holding the icon on the left has no response at all as you have to touch and hold on the title to actually make selections/multiple selections.
Ordering could be similar to the example in the attached video, just with clicking the icon on the left side in the bookmarks list (instead of the right side icon in the video)
Downside is it may not be intuitive for some people that are unfamiliar with touch interfaces

In addition to manual sorting, optional automatic alphanumeric sorting should be possible, although manual sorting of individual bookmarks should always take precedence.

This is how re-ordering bookmarks works on Chrome Android. I think this is a slightly different issue to the original request which is an easier way of moving bookmarks between folders. This is about the ability to change the order of bookmarks within a folder, which currently doesn't exist in Fenix I believe.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1920461 - I think this other bug would probably need fixing before re-ordering bookmarks can be supported on Fenix. Otherwise it could cause some unexpected sync issues as the bookmark order is currently not the same between Fenix and desktop/iOS.

Firefox iOS already supports re-ordering bookmarks, by tapping "Edit" then dragging from the 3 line buttons to move them. Something similar in Fenix would be great (and better than the above Chrome method)

@FormularSumo, please check the "Chrome re-order bookmarks" attachment. "No video with supported format and MIME type found." The uploaded file has the file extension ".txt."

Ah sorry around that, something must have gone wrong uploading it. I've uploaded it correctly now. You can remove the old one if you like (I don't seem to be able to), it somehow ended up as a text file saying "Chrome re"

@FormularSumo, as far as I have experienced, the complete deletion of obsolete attachments in Bugzilla in general or especially under BMO (bugzilla.mozilla.org) is not intended. However, I have not found anything reliable on this in the Mozilla Wiki.
I currently only have the user rights of a reporter (standard user group).
