User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/110.0
Steps to reproduce:
Hello,
since a few weeks, after selecting a tab from the taskbar preview, FF is no longer displayed in maximized mode as before - the window is displayed in minimized mode.
In other words FF was opened by me in maximized mode and after selecting a tab from the taskbar, it shrinks.
This is a bit annoying, but not the end of the world - Windows + up arrow maximizes it again.
Actual results:
The error is reproducible

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Win32' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Can you try to run mozregression to see when this started happening?
A number of Firefox versions will open in succession to narrow down when this started occurring. Simply answer "good" or "bad" based on whether or not a build reproduces the bug. Once finished, please post the output from the last run. It should give a last good and first bad revision as well as a link to look at the changesets in that range. Thank you!

I have no experience with mozregression.
With the version released today, the problem - so far - has not occurred.
I'll keep watching it in any case.
Greetings
Rainer :)

Unfortunately, I have to revise my statement from earlier.
The problem exists also in the current version.
Greetings
Rainer :)
Hello,
I have noticed that once the error occurs, every time a tab is selected from the tab preview, the display is reduced. Selecting the FF with Alt + Tab leaves the window size untouched. You can only turn it off by closing the FF and reopening it. What ultimately leads to the problem I can not judge.
Greetings
Rainer :)

I have no experience with mozregression.
Mozregression is designed for use by relatively inexperienced users. Please try it out, since it's unlikely we'll be able to narrow down the regression range without it. (I cannot do so in your stead because following the steps-to-reproduce does not reproduce the bug on my machine.)

Clear a needinfo that is pending on an inactive user.
Inactive users most likely will not respond; if the missing information is essential and cannot be collected another way, the bug maybe should be closed as INCOMPLETE.
For more information, please visit BugBot documentation.
Hello,
The problem now only occurs occasionally. I noticed that it occurs when I have previously checked for updates with ALT + H + E.
Greetings Rainer :)
