1812014 - URLbar is set to empty string after an auth prompt

I noticed the following: while an auth prompt is open, if I clear the url bar, and then switch tabs, the URL is properly restored, but, if I then cancel/accept the prompt, after the load the urlbar is set to the empty string again.
(I tried to trace this via mozregression, I could still reproduce this in fx90 but coud not go further back because of compatibility issues.)

Steps to reproduce:

• open https://eviltrap.site/trap/http-auth-prompt-spoof/auth
• clear the url bar
• switch to another tab and back again
• cancel/accept the prompt
• notice that after the load, the url bar is empty
