What is the user problem or growth opportunity you want to see solved?

I would like to sort my downloads by multiple criteria:

  • newest to oldest
  • oldest to newest
  • alphabetically
  • reversed alphabetically.

How do you know that this problem exists today? Why is this important?

When I need to find a recent download, I want to sort the downloads in the built-in download manager by date. When I need to find a download with a certain name, I want to sort my downloads alphabetically.

Who will benefit from it?

People using the built-in download manager in Firefox (most of the user base, I would guess).
