Steps to reproduce:

It seems it has something to do with auto tab unloading.

I'm using this add-on:

I'm able to reproduce this exception when unloading a tab with devtools currently opened.

Do you get these exception following the same steps, or is there more being broken?

If you follow the same steps, then you current patch makes sense. Otherwise we might want to investigate more.

Yes! I get the same error when following your steps. This makes sense because sometimes I leave the dev tools open in some tabs and the auto-unloading triggered this bug.
