On a mac with Intel UHD 630 graphics, I navigate to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXb3EKWsInQ and switch it to 2160p quality, then play it.
Here's a profile from that mac running macOS 10.15: https://share.firefox.dev/3X1u6ng. There is some stuttering. Chrome shows similar or worse stuttering.
Here's a profile from that same mac running macOS 13.2: https://share.firefox.dev/3jmcwfV. There is no stuttering.
macOS 10.15 does not allow hardware decode of VP9, so the difference here is due to our software decode performance.
2160p is fine now.
I can reproduce it on 1440p x2 speed by entering/exiting full-screen mode. There is a profile https://share.firefox.dev/3l3X0Wp .
Chrome doesn't have such issue btw.
