The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::File Handling' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hi @Dan, Does this issue still occur if you set The PDF content type action to Save File instead of Open in Firefox ? I think Its intended for the Actions set for different file types to override the Always ask you where to save files.
I think this is intended behavior but one of our devs can take a look and close it as Invalid if its not a valid issue.

The issue no longer occurs. I agree it makes sense for Firefox to open the PDF in the browser. Save Link As... is an adequate workaround for saving the file. Fee free to close.
