Which Theme Do you use ? Have you installed Mozilla in a clean and empty directory ?
Summary: I click on the mail icon and cannot open the mail screen → I click on the mail icon and cannot open the mail screen
I have the standard theme and uninstalled mozilla and also delete the mozilla.org file .. Older versions of Mozilla work
Can you please this files in your profile : xul.mfl all files in chrome\*.* (you will loose all third-party Themes and language packs)
I changed my theme from classic to modern and my mail works again ... I tried the classic theme and it seems like Mozilla had repaired itself ??? Theme problem ???
