(Latest version of release on latest iOS on an iPhone 13 mini)

When Firefox is open, the things on either side of my phone's notch (time, wifi, battery, etc.) are white text on an almost white background and are therefore hard to read. I'll attach a screenshot.

Heya, thanks for this.

I have a few more questions in order to try and get a better understanding of this:

  • Is this on any website or just a particular website?
  • Does it keep happening if you force close & re-open the app?
  • Is it behaving the same on dark mode? Could you include a full screenshot so we can see what's happening more clearly (ie. state of the rest of the app).
  • Is this consistently reproducible & what are the steps?

Now of course I can't make it happen when I need to. It was definitely on some thestar.com articles so I'll watch for it.

Once it happens, it's on any website.

  • Does it keep happening if you force close & re-open the app?

Evidently not. I somehow got into the state this morning and force closing and re-opening fixed it (and I couldn't get it back into that state).

I'll try dark mode and see. I've attached a full screenshot.

  • Is this consistently reproducible & what are the steps?

Unfortunately no :( When it happened this morning I tried to reproduce with the same order of sites that I think I had opened/closed (in the same tab/handful of tabs) but it didn't happen again. I'll keep trying.

Hello! Thanks for the details, I created a GitHub issue so we can track it there (which syncs with Jira).
