Which Build Do you use ? (self-compiled, from mozilla.orf or from another distri) Have you correctly symlinked the plugin ? Do you see it in help about:plugins ? Have you activated it in edit\preferences\advanced\[]Enable Java ?
Please add the informations directly in a bug (Your mail got filtered because your mail-server is listed in the spamcop DNSBL list) >I use Mozilla from the distribution SuSE Linux 8.1. >The links are right. I tried it also with a copy of the plugin javaplugin.so. >If I look into "about:plugins", I find the follow: A copy can't work and Mozilla will crash if you visit a page with Java. We don't accept bug reports from non Mozilla.org builds. The should be the problem : Java doesn't work with GCC3.2 builds and I expect that SuSe compiles with GCC3.2 Sun must release a plugin compiled with GCC3.2 Workaround: Use a mozilla.org build (compiled with GCC2.95) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 116444 ***
