Steps to reproduce:

connect to microsoft teams with account
try to chat with anyone (write some letters in chat area)

Actual results:

pressed letters/symbols should be appeared

Expected results:

nothing happened

Did this work in earlier versions? If so, could you use mozregression to figure out when it stopped working for you?

actually it is the first time I'm using teams in linux so I cannot answer the question

This sounds like a Teams bug. Not sure what their chat uses to do background communication. It might be webrtc or something else.

Which Team service are you using? The corporate type service or the live.com service?
