On the Chimera bug report page, select the content of URL field (from right to
left) with the mouse pointer. Then hit the Backspace key (above Return).
It will delete the "http://" text and go back to previous page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
See also bug 181198.
Confirmed in build 1217 on 2 macs.
Very annoying specially if you have filled a huge form.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
So text fields should be marking the backspace key event with preventDefault
I can't repro this.Maybe related to bug 183611?
WFM in build 1230.

ditto, wfm using today's build.
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
I still got that problem in Build 2003011104.
It's not linked to bug 183611, as I have typed nothing.
I can't find an exact path to reproduce all the time but it's there, when I
select 'http://' in the bugzilla URL field and press the Back key (above Return).

i can't repro this, though it seems to be an international keyboard issue
perhaps? please reopen if it happens in a trunk build
