Dear Sir:
If one clicks on manage your bookmarks, and you spend a great deal of time
editing the bookmark file, including the personal toolbar, there is no way to
save the newly entered data.
If one imports a new bookmark HTML file, according to the help system, there
should be a "save" icon. None exists.
If would be nice to have the ability to edit and "save" a corrected bookmark file.
Sincerely,
Jerry Sankary, Esq.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Manage Bookmark
2. Edit Bookmarks
3. Attempt to save - NOT possible!
Actual Results:
Bookmark file reverts to original bookmark file.
Expected Results:
Just put in a SAve option or Save As option.
The bookmarks file will be saved when you exit mozilla. Do you mean that this
does not happen for you?
Recieved on mail from reporter:

Make sure your bookmarks.html file is not set to read only (this happens if you
restore it from a back up from a CD-R). You can also try to delete the file
compreg.dat from the mozilla program folder, a new one will be created the next
time you start mozilla. If it still not works try with a newer build
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.2
Please send further follow-ups to bugzilla, not on mail.

Use the Export function, under the Tools menu.
reoslve as WFM based on original comment
The rest (not saving on exit) is bug 188401 (maybe a dupe of something
else)
