Starting 2023-02-14 the partitions of telemetry_derived.event_events_v1 and telemetry_stable.event_v4 have been showing substantially lower-than-normal sizes. This is different from Bug #1799513 where only the derived partition was decreasing, while stable events table sizes remained stable.

Possibly related notes:

  • 2023-02-14 marked the release of v110
  • in Glean, firefox_desktop_stable.pageload_v1 saw an increase in table size at the same time as the decrease in firefox_desktop_stable.events_v1
