1. open e.g. https://treeherder.mozilla.org/perfherder/graphs?highlightAlerts=1&highlightChangelogData=1&highlightCommonAlerts=0&highlightedRevisions=f7e8078de9c3&highlightedRevisions=ccef99223f22&series=try,4596416,1,13&series=mozilla-central,4603250,1,13&timerange=604800
2. click "add test data"
3. type something in the "filter tests" textbox above the "tags" field
4. hit enter

ER:
immediate filtering of results

AR:
the page is reloaded, any existing context is thrown away

Fortunately you can use the back button to recover, but it's very jarring!
