Mozilla currently uses message.eml as the default filename for saving messages.
It would be nice if you could set a user_pref item to customize the default
filename, so you could set the pref so that

mymessage => default file name is mymessage.eml
%d => default filename is a localized date stamp 12-02-02.eml
%h%m %10s => default filename is the timestamp, plus the first 10 characters of
the subject header (converted to valid filename characters for the local system)

or something like that.

The "Save As" now only uses message.eml if the email has no subject, which is probably enough of an edge case to mark as WONTFIX. If you feel this still an issue, please reopen.
