It would be handy if our PDF editor supported a draw-solid-rectangle command.
My specific use case recently was for a PDF calendar that I wanted to print, which had a large ink-wasting header and footer image, covering the top and bottom 10-20% of the document, which I didn't care to waste ink on printing. I wanted to blank out (i.e. cover-up-with-white) those whole areas of the PDF before printing.
(For now, my workaround was to use the pencil tool with white ink and maximum thickness to scribble over the piece that I didn't want to print; but it took a minute or so to do that. It would've been a much easier user-experience to just draw a solid rectangle, if we offered that option.)
