This is not only Restore Previous Session but also 'Reopen Closed Tab and 'Reopen Closed Window.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Start Firefox

  2. Open a webpage and logged in as account A.

  3. Quit browser

  4. Start Firefox

  5. Open the same webpage and logged in as account B.

  6. Restore the previous session in which you were logged in as account A.

Actual Results:
Tabs that were open in the previous session will be opened in a new tab.
However, the previous login is overwritten with the current login.
i.e, Both will be account B sessions.

Expected Results:
Before restore the session, it should be warned that it will be overwritten with current login.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start Firefox
  2. Open a webpage in new tab and logged in as account A.
  3. Close the tab.
  4. Open the same webpage and logged in as account B.
  5. Reopen closed tab

Actual Results:
The closed tab will be reopened in a new tab.
However, the reopened tab is overwritten with the current login.
i.e, Both will be account B sessions.

Expected Results:
Before reopen the closed tab, it should be warned The login session is overwritten by the current login..

The saved session included session cookies which get restored - replacing your current session cookie and account login. I'm not sure there is a good way to know what restoring a session might mean for an individual user - and how we would communicate that.
