we have some test failures when running these tests on debug with a MSIX installer. These tests are only run on debug, so this is the first time we are trying to run these on MSIX builds of Firefox.

Can you share how to repro with a try query ? The links are stale now

I did a try push as an example and it looks like the tests are passing:

I will retrigger to see if this is consistent, and then upload the patch to enable the tests.

ok, I made an error; this was a TEST-SKIP due to skip-if artifact for the entire manifest, let me do a new try push.

ok, so what I dont know is if MSIX might just be blocking writing access. I was relying on it to test some conditions

removing the skip-if and running ./mach try fuzzy --no-artifact -q 'test-win msix browser-chrome !spi'
will reproduce this.

I got confirmation this is expected for MSIX, even during tests, we just cannot write to it.
