Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/111.0
Steps to reproduce:
All I do is keep Thunderbird open for several days. My PC goes to sleep after 2 hours.
Actual results:
For instance today (23 March), the "Events pane" was showing the current date as 20 March and some events that happened yesterday. I then need to manually click on the small circle to force it to move to today's date.
Expected results:
The date should automatically advance to today's date
(1) if the PC is running and not in sleep mode and the clock ticks past midnight, or
(2) if the PC is in sleep mode at midnight, the moment it wakes, TB should check whether the date is still the correct one and change it if necessary.

I've seen that.
I should add that when the PC is awake at midnight, the date rolls over without problem. So the issue only arises when the PC is asleep at midnight and then wakes the next morning.

Carl, have you tried Thunderbird 115 and do you still experience this issue?

Yes I'm on 115 and I don't think I have noticed it recently. So maybe it is fixed. I will keep an eye on it and if it shows up again I will let you know. Thanks for following up.
