Given the work currently happening to move away from osfile, I don't think it makes sense to try and convert the lz4/osfile modules.
I'm not sure if lz4 removal will be done as part of bug 1772262, but in any case, filing this as a memory placeholder for the ESM-ification work so that we know what needs to be done for these modules.
