Is there no activity on this bug? Last activity dates back to 2002-12-03. I too would like to see this fixed, but I myself don't have any knowledge of XUL (and since RSI has not made things better for me, I'm not able to learn XUL) Dennis Haney,maybe you should vote for the bug to push for some activity?
Actually, empty subjects are strongly discouraged. So I don't think that this bug is worth implementation time...

Yes, but that doesn prevent other people from doing it. Especially web-mail and outlook ppl.
