Split screen and window view unavailable EMUI 12

Steps to reproduce:
Tried launching Firefox in split screen or windowed mode on Huawei P40 (EMUI 12) by any available means, including special apps.
Actual results:
Firefox returns an error message, saying it cannot be launched in windowed/split-screen mode on Huawei P40 (EMUI 12)
On Samsung A04s (Android 12), however, Firefox runs in windowed and split-screen modes without any problems.
Expected results:
Expected to launch in both modes without issue on Huawei P40 EMUI 12 system
I am unsure, whether this is an intended behavior or an actual bug, as all other versions of Firefox (Beta, Nightly, Focus, even Tor, which is supposed to be based on older Firefox releases) support both windowed and split-screen modes.
However, I would really appreciate it if the developers could look into this, or, if it's an intended behavior, say so.

We need to do a decent amount of work if we want to support this feature. For now, this probably not high on our priorities list, until we can understand our user impact, what the work would entail, and the expected outcome.

It already works fine on Beta, Nightly & Focus. No idea why, but you know... Just sayin'
