Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log in to WhatsApp Web

Actual results:

  1. English text not displayed at all (Chinese is not affected) - WhatsApp on my phone displays all text fine
  2. Pinyin is incorrectly displayed with some characters missing
  3. English text not displayed, site is unusable.

Expected results:

1, 2, 3) All text should be correctly displayed irrespective of language or special characters.

This sounds like it was an example of bug 1827950, in which case the Firefox 112.0.2 update (released a few days ago) should have fixed the problem. Can you confirm whether that resolves the issue you're seeing?

This appears to be fixed now. Current version of Firefox is 112.0.2 which seems to have done the trick.
