Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/112.0
Steps to reproduce:
Be logged in to getpocket.com, then open a new tab, then hover over any news item in the "recommended by pocket" news cards. Then click on the red pocket-button that appears which says "save"
Actual results:
Nothing. Neither any visual indication of it being saved, nor does it appear on the https://getpocket.com/saves?src=navbar page.
Expected results:
visual que that the saving worked, and should appear on https://getpocket.com/saves?src=navbar .

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Pocket' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Seems to work for me.
I don't think this is related to log in status, because if I was not logged in, I would be redirected to the log in page.
This is more likely some error being thrown when the button is clicked. There seems to be something wrong, but little signal as to what that might be. I think we need more information.
Some things we can check/rule out:
- Does it happen with a new profile.
- Does it continue to happen if you log out and back into Pocket from getpocket.com
- Is this happening in private browsing or regular.
- Could it be an installed addon that's somehow causing this.
I'll keeping trying to reproduce the error on my end.

- What happens if you log out, stay logged out, and then click the save button? (you should be redirected to the pocket log in page)

your steps do work, Scott. The entire issue is fixed, but now it removes any article not only from the pocket list but also from the news cards entirely if you click "remove from pocket".
