STR:

  1. Open Firefox for iOS
  2. Navigate to the search bar and start entering anything, I.e. “g”
  3. Using VoiceOver navigate to the list with auto suggest results and review the “Button” button
  4. Using Voice Control attempt to activate any specific button using its label name as a command: “Tap Button”

Expected:

I am not sure what is the purpose of these buttons, but guessing from the visual icon it may be a button to open this auto suggested website in a new tab vs the same tab if you just activate the name of the suggested site? If so:

  1. VoiceOver would name the control as, possibly, “Open {Google} in a new tab” button
  2. Voice Control activated the button by calling it’s label: “Open {Google}”

Actual:

  1. VO: multiple “Button”
  2. VC user needs to call “Tab button” and then choose an option

On-screen labels should be included in the accessible name of controls, because it would create equal experience for all users. All controls should be labeled.

All labels should be unique and descriptive too
