User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021118 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021118 If an URL is not enclosed in a ... section then it is not possible to open the link easily (select text/copy text/open new tab/paste text). An "Open ..." option could be added to the 3rd mouse button: 1. Select text via 1st mouse button (eg: www.mozilla.org) 2. Click 3rd mouse button 3. Select "Open www.mozilla.org in new tab" or "Open www.mozilla.org in new window" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
FYI: You appear to be on Unix --- on Unix, you can select the address with the left mouse button then click to middle mouse button to do this.
Thanks for the tip. However, I can't still open the link in a new tab or new window.
but you can, hold down control while clicking middle mouse button. however, this is a duplicate report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 10080 ***
