Hi All,

The blocks to fill in for a search on Microsoft's knowledge base do
not show, except in IE. These blocks occur between the lines "Advanced
Search and Help" and "Table of Contents" at the top of the page. Can
you fix this?

Many thanks,

Poster, try the fix in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159494#c108
and let us know it if helps. URL works for me in 2002112912 trunk using that fix.
Errr, which one of bug 159494's, 118 comments has the fix you are speaking of?

oops, just found the c108. will try.
Hi Mrmazda,

I put in both my chrome and the root profile directory. No change.
I do not believe this problem has to do with overlapping text.

And, Cool! It fixed my problem with the text overlapping on
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;235653.
Thank you! :-)

But, no knowledge base block to fill in. :-)

MS are deliberatly blocking content to other browsers than their own. (Old
news..)

I spoofed user agent to MSIE6 for XP (on a Linux build) and suddenly the page
displays very differently.
see also http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159494#c99
Using that spoofer and setting User agent to Netscape 6/6.2 also cures this bug.
Hi All,

The spoofer worked for me too. Thank you!

As this is someone else's (m$) doings, I am not sure this is a bug. It
is certainly not Mozilla's fault. Maybe the developers could come up
with a sneaky workaround?

It's part of the same syndrom as bug 159494 so resolving as dup, under the
assumption that when MS one day make the effort amd modify their code to
recognize mozilla, they do it site-wide.
