User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/112.0
Steps to reproduce:
I am on MacOS (8GB RAM) I have animated themes and add ons and using Firefox 112.0.1. I have removed them and also experienced the same issue and went into safe mode and experienced the same issue. I have also checked that this occurs even without YouTube running.
Actual results:
Memory in about:processes called "firefox" keeps on increasing until it freezes and crashes or if I press "minimize storage usage" manually every time it starts to increase (which is very frequent) on about:memory.
Expected results:
Normal usage and about:processes "firefox" remains the same in size. No crashes at all.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Theme' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

112.0.2 was just released with a fix. Going in the about dialog should force searching for an update.

They said that the issue continued even with animated themes disabled, so it isn't clear it is exactly the same issue.
Please do update to 112.0.2. If you continue to experience the issue, please get a memory report from about:memory.

I have updated to the new version and the problem has been resolved but I did test without the animated themes or any add ons in the prior version but still suffered a memory leak.
Thank you for the help :)

Thanks for reporting back. I'll go ahead and re-mark it as a duplicate then.
