- Open https://open.spotify.com/album/2dqnsyXsax7Cnk9OJTkN8k (or any song if that doesn't work)
- Play the song and confirm it sounds well
- Duplicate the tab
- Click the speaker button next to the volume button and click "This web browser" in the duplicated new tab
- Wait until the playback migrates to the new tab
- Close the original tab
Expected: The migrated playback at step 6 should not break at step 7
Actual: It breaks with "The WidevineCdm plugin has crashed" message

It does show "Submit a crash report" button next to the message but tapping it does nothing; I don't see the report in about:crashes in either submitted nor unsubmitted reports. Any idea why?

I've only seen this on Windows ARM when it failed to launch the process early on. This sounds like it is crashing after it has been decrypting content for some time.
There is a Widevine update coming in the next few weeks. Let's check in again to see if it resolves itself.

No longer reproducible with the new Widevine CDM version (4.10.2710.0), it seems that the new Widevine update has resolved this issue.
