Hi, Andrew, you touched a lot of GMP codes recently, could you help me check this crash and see if you have any idea? Thank you!

I tried on Ubuntu 22.04 with nightly and release, no problems. Could you attach your about:support?
Are you using the snap build? There are known issues loading plugins with snap builds if they have AppArmor restrictions. If so, could you please try with our nightly build at http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/2023/05/2023-05-09-09-30-33-mozilla-central/firefox-115.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2

(In reply to Andrew Osmond [:aosmond] (he/him) from comment #3)

Done in comment #4.
Are you using the snap build?
I'm using Debian's package.

Thanks for the information. I've just tried Nightly, and for the moment, no problems with it.

Unfortunately the crash reports aren't giving much to go on since the minidump is empty. Might be an issue with Widevine itself, might be us. If you get anymore crashes, please link the reports to us here. Otherwise, we can hope this will be resolved in the next Widevine update coming soon.

A few months ago, I also got crashes (unrelated to Widevine, AFAIK) with an empty minidump. See bug 1803899, marked as a duplicate of bug 1360392.

No longer reproducible with the new Widevine CDM version (4.10.2710.0), it seems that the new Widevine update has resolved this issue.

It still crashes with Widevine CDM 4.10.2710.0, just after the update to this version. I've just submitted a crash report.
Or do I need to restart Firefox?

I've just tried with a new profile, and it doesn't crash. So I assume that a restart is needed, even though there's no alert about this.
