=== Steps to reproduce ===

• Receive an mail, encrypted & signed with S/MIME by someone else (most probably using Apple Mail, according to the headers), signature is valid, the other party sent an attachment with that mail (in contrast to bug #1711197; it was a PDF).
• Open E-Mail in Thunderbird
• If Thunderbird is showing the mail as HTML, then do select "View" > "Message as" > "Plain Text"

A representative version of the mail after manual decryption of the (only the "Content-*" headers) as attached as text file. Comments and replaced content are marked with [[ ]]. The number of blank lines in between the contents are correct.

=== Actual Results ===

Thunderbird does not show the attachment in a bar below. When switching (back to) HTML view, the attachment suddenly appears again.

=== Expected Results ===

Thunderbird should show the attachment always as it should depend on the mode.
