Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130

When one receives very long URLs via email that get broken across 2 or more
lines, one needs to paste more than once into the Mozilla URL field, but when
one switches tabs anything entered gets removed, making it necessary to put the
URL together in a text editor so that one can paste the entire thing in one go
into the Mozilla URL bar, very inconvenient!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open second Tab.
2. Paste or type something into the URL field.
3. Switch Tabs
4. Switch back to Tab where one typed or pasted and it's no longer there.

Actual Results:
The typed or pasted URL gets removed.

Expected Results:
Remember the typed or pasted URL so that one can add to it to then be able to go
to that URL.
