mozilla 1.2 has a problem with cyrus 2.0.16. my subfolders of the inbox get
corrupted, so i cannot put more messages in them. when i move a message over a
broken folder via drag'n'drop the stop-sign appears. mozilla 1.1 works for us,
bust since mozilla 1.2a its broken, including the new 1.2.1-release. 

with cyrus 2.1.x it seems to work, said our administrator.

This should be a dupe of bug 170597

Can you try a 1.3a nichtly build if this is fixed ?
(the fix is not in 1.2.X)

dup - you could try the 1.3 alpha which should come out in a couple days and be
relatively stable.
