Hello, thank you for the bug report!
Unfortunately I could not reproduce your issue. Would you be so kind as to answer a few questions so we can investigate this further?
- Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
- Does this issue happen with latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
- Does this issue happen when Firefox is in Troubleshoot Mode? Here’s a link on how to enable it: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-troubleshoot-mode
- Could you please attach your about:support info?
Thank you.

Hi Oana!
Thanks for the assistance.
- This issue did not happen when I switched to the 'default' profile (I was previously in 'default-release'). "Not happening" means: a) the non-pinned tabs were restored and b) the settings page had the "Open previous windows and tabs" checkbox checked.
- Couldn't install the nightly version as of yet (low available space and lack of time)
- This issue happened partially when in troubleshoot mode: a) the tabs were restored upon Firefox restart in Troubleshoot mode but b) the settings page showed the "Open previous windows and tabs" checkbox UNchecked.
- Support info is attached
Once again thank you for your time.

- This issue happened partially when in troubleshoot mode: a) the tabs were restored upon Firefox restart in Troubleshoot mode but b) the settings page showed the "Open previous windows and tabs" checkbox UNchecked.
So your support info shows browser.startup.page: 0, which would mean that "Open previous windows and tabs" is in fact disabled. When you're not in troubleshoot mode and this issue happens, can you confirm that "Open previous windows and tabs" is still enabled?

Hi Oana and Dão,
Yes, the issue is still reproducible with Firefox 116.0.3
And yes, when not in troubleshoot mode, the issue happens and the "Open previous windows and tabs" checkbox is still checked.
Thanks

Could you re-attach the information from about:support? This checkbox seems to disagree with the information from the about:support you attached 3 months ago. I wonder if it has been changed since. Also, do you have Sync set up to sync other devices?
