Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 Galeon/1.2.6 (X11; Linux i686; U;) Gecko/20020913 Debian/1.2.6-2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 Galeon/1.2.6 (X11; Linux i686; U;) Gecko/20020913 Debian/1.2.6-2 The bookmarks.html file is automatically generated by mozilla. However, the method is (as far as I understand): 1. delete the file 2. create a file with the same name and write it. This has the effect to generate a file with a different inode. It would be nice if this file was not recreated every time, but only rewriten. It would allow to put a symlink on the file to share it between Linux and Windows, for example. This works fine for abook.mab Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: It would be nice if this file was not recreated every time, but only rewriten. It would allow to put a symlink on the file to share it between Linux and Windows, for example. This works fine for abook.mab
Please don't file a bug again about a non mozilla.org build (Debian/1.2.6-2) unless you can reproduce it with a mozilla.org build And also don't file bugs about a build older than 2 weeks ! (Gecko/20020913) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 156814 ***
